Chalet Starling (foremerly known as Chalet Sagarmata) is a luxurious 1,200 m² alpine retreat located high on the Savoleyres side in Verbier, Switzerland. The chalet features contemporary, chic interiors, an open-plan living area with floor-to-ceiling windows, a south-facing terrace with panoramic mountain views, and elegant dining for up to 16 guests. Wellness amenities are exceptional: a 25 m salt-water heated swimming pool, separate sauna and hammam, plunge pool and massage treatment room. It sleeps up to 14 guests across 7 beautifully designed bedrooms plus a staff room, includes a ski room, underground parking and lift access. The chalet lies just minutes by car from the main lift hub and central resort amenities, making it both exclusive and conveniently located.

LIVING & DINING

The main living level of Chalet Starling is a bright, open social floor that blends dining, lounging and scenic views into one continuous alpine panorama.

A long refectory-scale oak dining table is set for twelve (but can be extended) and is the visual anchor of the space. The chevron / zig-zag patterned dining chairs and the three dramatic white sculptural pendants above create a strong graphic rhythm. The table sits directly beneath a glass roof cut-out: a daylight slot that, together with floor-to-ceiling sliding windows, fills the room with high-altitude light.

Adjacent, the living lounge is low and plush: deep charcoal sofas, rounded loungers, footstools in taupe leather, and lots of soft, tactile sheepskin throws. A contemporary ribbon fireplace brings warmth and a focal flame.

Outside the glazing are wraparound terraces with winter views straight to the snowy mountains, clearly the signature guest-experience draw at Chalet Starling.

The bedrooms in Chalet Sagarmata are designed to feel calm, private and luxurious, with a mix of en-suite and family-style bathroom arrangements that work well for extended groups. Most bedrooms have generous natural light, and the best suites benefit from balconies that open directly to the Verbier views. The materials lean warmth with lots of timber, soft textiles, and muted tones. A notable feature is the small private lounge + kitchenette shared between two of the rooms, which reads like a self-contained mini apartment. The single rooms are more modest, but they complete the family-friendly flexibility.
